Children's Privacy Notice (COPPA / GDPR-K)

Who this applies to

This notice covers any user under 13 in the United States (COPPA) and under 16 in the European Economic Area (GDPR-K).

Parental consent

Before a child can use Lexora, a parent or guardian must give consent. We verify consent through: (a) the parent's confirmed account creating a verified link to the child's account, or (b) an explicit signed consent checkbox during signup confirmed by the parent.

What we collect from children

Name (or nickname), email (for sign-in), and the learning content the child pastes or types. We do not knowingly collect any other personal information from children.

What we do NOT do

  • We don't show advertising to children.
  • We don't sell or share children's data with marketers.
  • We don't use children's content to train external AI models.
  • We don't enable any social, public, or chat features in child accounts.

Parental controls

Parents can: review the child's profile and learning history, request a copy of all data, revoke consent, or request full deletion — at any time from the Parent Dashboard or Settings.

Data deletion

To delete your child's account and all related data, sign in, go to Settings → Delete my data, or email us. We complete deletion within 30 days.
